Daily Journal Continued November 17,1998, William Thomas Thompson By 1945 France had been captured twice in the first half of this century by Germany,no stranger to war,this country was beatup and raped by Hitler and the German people for nogood reason,they were handy neighbors to shoot at and steal from and occupy their land. Normandy is just a few miles NorthWest of Paris here where in the final days of WWII,our good men and women jumped the tallest bank of all shorelines to free France and all of Europe along with our weakened allies. About 400,000 good people died to take back what the devil destroyed and to free the starving POWs,no one seems to know how many Germans died that day but not as many I am sure. We were at a great disadvantage having to climb a mountain to get to the enemy that was so dug in and well fortified with machine guns blasting the life out of our young brave men in the lead. We sure saved Europe and then gave all of Eastern Europe back over to the worst than Hitler,being the Joe Stalin devil that he was of Satan as Mr.Communism as in killing and iron curtain totalitarianism,we stood by and let Hitler grow strong after he roseup out of ashes. By the time HenryFord made his firstV-8 engine in 1932,Hitler was elected and soon put Germany to making war non-stop like China is today and Russia was and is. We sacrificed the Poles, the Czechs and others that Hitler was stepping on because we did not want to encounter this beastly man. Let us never turn our backs on people in a hurting world and think it will go away. It has been said of the Indonesianleader that"he is drunk on power",drunk on power is drunk on blood. This look at Europe in the culmination of history will reveal our place intime relative to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. All Bible prophecy has or will be fulfilled,most people come to Europe looking for that great styling and ultimately that dollar almighty,so many come as I have to view and appreciate the great art,I come for more than the visual but for the vision that is trapped inside the art. All the pain and suffering that made a painting so perfect is not visible to the average eye. I stand on a circle of world history today looking tomorrow straight in the face and seeing the clouds raising and spelling out all the facts about to happen. This great city and the climate of the world and it narrows down to maybe1hour when all shall fall and money fail. We had the Europeanbreakfast this morning and took off to see the Louvre. The Louvre is closed on Tuesday. Maybe they change allthe water in the river that day. This is down afew blocks from Dianna died under the same river as she was fleeing from nothing. We got a taxi then to the top of the mountain where the artist all paint in the square by the church called Montmarte,"sacred coer". Where is a real sacredplace? All of God's earth is sacred. This is most active a place,we finally went into the church and readall the no signs of things dummies like me donot know about the rituals that the world church worships by in idolatry. The stainedglasswindows so beautiful but this little man kept running all around us shak-ing his head in a "no"direction until I ask him if he was sick or something. We took pictures of smokyParis and then faced with the the need for their long lined watercloset coin operated with that smell that kills any appetite,we took a cab back to the hotel all the way back across the river.
